Chinese painting

It is a challenge to paint a vivid image with only black ink but that also applies when using colours. There are several ways to do this in Chinese painting. This can be done in an expressive (free hand) or detailed way (gongbi) or a combination. Depending which technique you prefer most, you can have a quick and vibrant artwork in just a few strokes!
